ADRF-Nepal
(Africa-Asia Destitute Relief Foundation-Nepal) a non-profit making
organization began its relief work in 2011 here in Nepal. It is local
organization established under the Organization registration act 2039 in Social
Welfare Council in Kathmandu. It works in coordination with ADRF Korea. ADRF Korea
imitate its work in 1994 for Liberia refugees who were tired of a long civil
war. It works for the welfare of children with a slogan of HOPE=EDUCATION. It
believes that education is the Hope for the better future of the children.
ADRF-Nepal
in coordination with ADRF-Korea supports school education and character
education to children living in Poverty line and young people who don’t receive
the favor of education. Believing that only education is the best help, it
started schooling support to children in different countries of Africa and Asia
continent. It works in Liberia, Senegal, Kenya, Ethiopia, Mongolia, Nepal,
Malaysia, Indonesia, Myanmar, Laos, and Philippines.
In
Nepal ADRF is established with main motto which states, “we will forever keep
the children’s genuine and clean smile”. It has identified its project sites in
Kathmandu and Kavrepalanchok. It works in Shree Balkalyan Primary School
Jagritee Tole-16, Balaju in Kathmandu and Shree Bhumimata Secondary School
Tipchowk-7 in Kavrepalanchok district of Nepal. It supports the school children
with school materials which include books, admission, stationery, educational
tour, and so on. As it works in grassroots level so it directly benefits the
clients or the children. It helps the children with one to one connection with
the sponsor. It support almost 300 children including 4 orphan children
directly through one to one connection program with the sponsors.
It
is work with the help of volunteer, so it initiate the young youth for the
social work. It organized and conducts different workshop and seminar for the
young to enhance their level of thinking for the humankind.

and character training to the children who are suffering because of lack of
educational opportunities in order to make them moral and capable leaders of
the future.
